What is NLP?
NLP Neuro linguistic programming is a behavioral science based on the study of success and excellence. It models what people do well and how they do it, exploring beliefs, attitudes and strategies so others can apply it for their benefit. To this extent NLP is not new, it is merely the study and strategy of people who excel in a particular area in life, so that you, too can benefit.

What should I expect from a session?
Once you have arranged an appointment, Alison will ask you to complete an Outcome Sheet to enable you to clarify the focus of your sessions so you can get the best value from your time. This will enable you to define the results you wish to achieve. The questions are designed especially to assist you and ensure the outcomes you desire are focussed and ecological in all areas of your life.
You will work in partnership with Alison, drawing from a wide range of modalities and methodologies, to facilitate change based on the outcomes you have identified and any others that arise during our time together.
The work you will undertake is based on your internal process, refining your beliefs, attitudes, and thinking patterns to support where you want to go. You will explore barriers and limiting beliefs that are currently preventing your progress and work to eliminate these.
You proceed with the physical action empowered towards reaching your goals in a totally congruent more effective way.
Between sessions you will have an action plan to support integrating these new behaviours into your daily life.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
Our appointment policy requires you to give us 24 hours notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment. Same day cancellations will be charged in full unless rebooked within one week.
How many sessions do I need?
Engaging in coaching or therapy, the outcomes people seek to achieve are wide and varied. The number of sessions you require depends entirely on your desired outcome and your purpose in hiring me.
For this reason, Alison is happy to arrange a free 15-minute consultation with you. You can see if she is the right fit for you and can determine your requirements and how Alison can be of service.
Some people come for one off sessions, to deal with a specific issue. Most people embrace coaching quickly realizing the ongoing benefits.
How long is a session?
The first client orientation session is usually 90 minutes. Further sessions are generally 60 minutes unless otherwise arranged.
How much does it cost?
There are a number of coaching packages available which can be discussed at your free 15 minute consultation. For casual sessions, payment is due at the end of each session and may be paid by eftpos or cash.
